Bill, a fourth generation resident of Batesville, moved back in 1994 after being away from the area for 10 years. He always compared other cities he lived in to Batesville and decided to return for the great sense of community that this area has to share. He and his wife, Hayes, have a daughter Peyton and a son, Will. When he is not at children's activities, his hobbies include travel and boating. Bill is a multi million-dollar producer and has held several positions in the local & state association including president, local Realtor-of-the-Year for 2003, 2012, and 2017. Bill also was the 2013 Arkansas State President and current Arkansas Realtor of the Year. He is also very involved on the national level for the National Association of Realtors as a member of committees and serves at the Federal Political Coordinator for Arkansas Representative Rick Crawford. He holds the GRI,CRS and ABR designations for his industry. Bill is also involved in several volunteer organizations such as Special Olympics, Main Street Batesville, Batesville Preservation Association, Relay for Life, the O2 Memorial Trap Shoot. He is a past president and member of the Batesville Rotary Club. The Olson family are active members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church where Bill has served on the vestry and as past senior warden.
